Graying clouds reflected my mood
As sunshine struggled to find a small opening
To brighten the feelings kept deep inside
I turned my head toward the sky
A silent prayer within to the One who can hear
To the One who can only truly understand
And as I said my final thank you
The sun broke through the gloom
And followed me on my journey
And I knew He was keeping watch over me.

You made me smile. I am fine. Resting my eyes. Surgery January 12th.
I have been busy assisting my daughter and her mother. Her mother’s health issues have taken a turn for the worst, so I am trying to be supportive in this difficult period.
Missed reading your work.
Hope you and yours are well.

I’m so sorry you are going through this but you’re an amazing man, helping out the way you are. Please take care of you, too. Miss reading your words!! We’re hanging in, thank you π

Thank you so very much! It was written after I had a scare with breast cancer. I’m ok, it was benign, thank God. But on my way to find out the results, the clouds did exactly as I wrote, and the sun followed me….
