When fire stokes the dragon’s flame
The blaze just cannot be contained
For his scorching breath against the night
Illuminates, as he takes flight
Carrying on, in a fiery path
He leaves a desolate aftermath
For ashes now, are all that’s left
In a place uncolored and bereft
Of lands once vibrant in their days
Now smoldering, in a dragon’s haze
