Moonlight glows in ebony night
Branches reach to find the light
Stretching up to meet the glow
Her barren limbs begin to grow
Shortening distance between the spark
And land now covered by the dark
She reaches midnight’s golden sun
As ethereal colored worlds are spun
Anchored roots that hold her steady
She is unafraid, strong and ready
To catch the moon, perhaps, perchance
Luring him in with her moonlight dance

Change is good! It keeps people interested. It’s why I write the way I do. If I stuck to one emotion, even I wouldn’t want to read it!! lol

Your right. I never thought about it like that. Good perspective. 😊
