Restless, as my mind wanders
And my body cannot find the way
Like the leaf so desperately clinging
To that one last moment
Until the wind, relentless in its fury
Captures me, in a single gust
Cascading, swirling, slowly
Teasing the veins of my limbs
With the chill of October

This feels so light and surrendering, Dorinda. Love it 🙂

Thank you so much, Erika! I was watching the leaves fall yesterday and I wondered what it would be like to just surrender to the wind…
