Chameleon, elf, fantasy, fey, Friday Fantasy, Night Owl Poetry, poems, poetry, prey, stalking
She lurks amongst the Wood and Reed
Luring you in without a Word
Blended with the Forest Seed
Her Outline becomes too Blurred
Invisible Movements Catch your eye
You cannot see Who is there
Fluttering Softly, like a Butterfly
She Spins you Round without a Care
Subtle Tones change her Mood
Her Disguise is merely Fey
Alas, you find you can no longer Elude
She is a Chameleon Stalking her Prey
