I’ve started so many poems
Some still lost inside my head
Of silver birds and broken hearts
And snoring in my bed
At times it’s hard to get the words
To come alive on paper
They disappear much too fast
It all becomes a vapor
So I go back and start again
And try with all my might
To make some sense
Of what it is
That I’m about to write

We’ve all been here and it is sometimes very hard. I seem to go in spells or cycles, and I’ve learned, when the flood is roaring WRITE LIKE CRAZY and then save some for later when there is a drought 🙂

I’m going through the flood right now. I actually wrote this a month back, just never released it!! The past few days have been a whirlwind and I’m loving every minute of it!! Have a great day, Morgan!! 🙂
