The sky was a beautiful blue underneath white puffy clouds. I couldn’t help notice how green the landscape had become, after the harsh winter months. Walking along a path, I came across a sign, unmarked, and quite faded. It sent a tingle down my spine, as if it was sending me a message, although, it was surrounded by nettles. I couldn’t get close enough to see where it could send me, no matter how many different angles I approached it from. I could go in any of the directions it suggested, but exactly, where would I be going? Eventually, I decided to go east, to follow the sun, praying I had made the right choice.
Decisions to make
Endless possibilities
Ultimately mine

I enjoyed this. You have no choice but to choose, and I loved that you went with the sun.

As “The Road Not Taken” is my favorite poem, I love your piece! I agree with Erika that we can’t know about our choice until we make it and then take it! Rarely, if ever a chance to go back and try the other path! Silly me, I have a question, My Dear. How do we follow the sun East when in moves toward the West?? Just me, sorry!

The sun rises in the east. You have to follow it at some point.

Profound, we will never know where each path leads until we pick one and walk it!

True! But at least we learn one thing when they do: It is only a temporary pain and nothing harmful.

I love the idea of a signpost that points out choices you can’t read…
