Too many stories, still left unheard
Too many lives taken, how very absurd
These days, passing by, have been such an extreme
Can’t wait for it to be over, this twenty-sixteen
A Starman, a Prince, George Michael, and more
Debbie and Carrie, Glenn, and Gabor
Rickman, Vaughn, Frey, and Ali
How many more could there possibly be?
Wilder and Palmer, Henderson, Thicke
Too many, too young, gone too quick
The days of our childhood, taken away
I wonder if God had it all planned this way
Perhaps he knew better, that we would survive
But I sure as hell wish, they were all still alive
