A rose reflects, time passes by

Seconds tick, with no reason why

Midnight approaches, stands still and then

Begins its same path, over again

When petals wilt, the memories, forlorn

My lonely heart bleeds, cut by a thorn

She is his garden

A rose he can nurture

With just a touch, petals

He will nourish,

With his love

And in return,

She blossoms

A moment captured

As wilted petals, faded,

Held love’s memories
