Igniting the night
With a fiery blaze
Awakening the land
Summoning forth
The wizard’s force
Releasing its churn
The mountain screams
With billowing smoke
Stoking the flames
Shattering the calm
Of the demons below

You now look down upon
You gloat
Thinking
‘I’ve got it made’
Until you fall
And the only sound you hear
As you hit bottom
Is laughter

Boundless
Swirling, whirling
Like an eddy
Restless with your memories

An abyss of apathy

Drowning my existence
