Hello, friends!
Hubby and I decided we needed to get away from the world for a bit, so we packed and off we went. It was only overnight, but it was the best two days we’ve had in a long time. I turned off the internet and put my writing aside. Have patience with me as I catch up on all your wonderful comments!!
I’ll be sharing photos tomorrow, for Wordless Wednesday. I hope you enjoy them! Now it’s back to reality and writing, and running around, and writing, and and and…
See you soon!
Dorinda

There are no words
That can be said
To ease this imminent
Feeling of dread
That still looms over
Our hearts and souls
Of hateful men
With hateful goals
Each year we remember
Those who gave all
Brave men and women
Lost in the fall
Of buildings so high
Standing proud on our soil
Aflame with the fire
Of jet fuel and oil
A country united
Together we stood
Through dark clouds of smoke
We did what we could
As we look back on this day
Filled with sorrow, regret
We are Strong, We are Americans
We will Never Forget
