I’m wondering if all of you are experiencing the same thing I am.  There were an abundance of new followers, each with an Outlook email address (red flag).  Well, don’t get your hopes up.  they’re mostly spammers.

I have been in touch with WordPress, who assures me their engineers are working on the problem.  Uh huh…meantime, I have already sent 6-7 comments to spam, and this is just today.  It’s been going on for 3 days.

Should you experience this yourself, might do some good to email WP with the info (email & IP show in your comment section).  Perhaps it might speed things up a bit.  All I know is I do not have the time to keep deleting or marking them as spam.
