Here we are, my dear friends

My time away has passed

I’m back from my vacation

It was over much too fast

I spent much needed time

Taking in the beauty of the lake

Along with the mountains and nature

I really needed the break!

Though now that I’m back home

I really can’t complain

I have to say, I missed you all

So I’m off to write again!

Under radiant light, once again, reborn

A whispering breeze across the vibrant sky

She awakens with the gentle call of morn.

Life on Earth heaves a gentle sigh

For she is the mountain that reigns above

And the lands found down below

Delicate beauty, who bestows with love

As she watches her mighty Earth grow

#TBT ~ Wandering

Wandering on
Through valleys wide
And forests oh so deep
Through wild flower lanes
This Earth can’t contain
And mountains oh so steep

Wandering again
Carefree and light
Like a child in a nursery rhyme
Away from the city
That shows you no pity
From sweltering heat and grime

Wandering still
My visions set free
There are no worries to blind me
I’ll take to the clouds
Thundering loud
And never look back behind me

Wandering ever
Til my heart is fulfilled
Breathing in nature’s pure scent
It is here I surrender
To take in the splendor
To live out my dreams quite content

Snow covered mountains

Standing quietly alone

Among vast echoes
