Clasped perfection, your hand in mine
Molded together, in perfect rhyme
A harmony created, a simple touch
Connected pieces, we crave so much
Two bodies pressed, in a breathless kiss
Blended forever, in a perfect bliss

Thirty Years

They’ll never last, we heard them say
So we put them in their places
We spoke our vows and said I do
With smiles upon our faces
An elegy was written
No, this wasn’t just a rumor
Mourning the loss of his only son
My father-in-law‘s sense of humor
The guys all got together
To say farewell, dear chap
No more video games or movie frames
Just the famous Bachelor Rap
Friends and family gathered round
To wish us on our way
A bright new future lay ahead
On that beautiful July day
Yes, that was thirty years ago
As we celebrate this life
Neil, forever my husband
And I, forever his wife
