I share my bounty
For life has given me joy
In abundant love
This little guy comes right up to my hubby, not even afraid. They play a game with peanuts. Yes, he’s wildlife but he is also life…I love my chippies 🙂

When the colors of twilight
Welcome the calm of the night
And the only sound I hear
Is your heartbeat whispering near
And I feel your love’s caress
As we lay this day to rest

Barefoot, she walks among the roots
Deep within the ground around her
Feels the pulse of life flowing there
She pauses, lets the senses surround her
The lush of the evergreen, hidden away
Still leaves its fragrance there
Even barren and stark, against graying skies
She can breathe in the scent of the air
Listening closely to the sounds of the forest
Its heartbeat in rhythm with her own
Envisioning colors of grandest affair
Once vibrant, though now monotone
Poignantly gathering her last, deepest thought
She sighs as she gazes through limbs
Knowing one day she’ll again return here
To feel the senses she remembers of him

Like the supple petal of a rose
Your lips softly caress my own
Exploring, finding, intoxicating
As my body starts to moan
Heartbeats pulse, skin on skin
As bodies cling together
Becoming one in a heated throe
Bound by love’s own tether
Gently wrapped around us
Where none can break apart
Until the ends of time, my love
We are, forever, one heart
