Good morning, friends!
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas day, surrounded by the people you hold most dear to your heart. I’ll be taking a brief hiatus to collect my thoughts and get ready for the new year ahead. My midnight musings will continue but poetry will have to hold its verse.
I will miss all of you, but know that I will catch up with your posts when I return on January 2, 2016. That seems so strange to say, as I call this place my second home. I find warmth and comfort among all of you, and yet I’m bidding adieu, but only for a short period.
Many blessings in the coming new year. May you find the peace, hope, happiness and love in everything you do!!

The Glory of Christmas
Can be Seen all Around you
With Houses Adorned
In Lights that Astound you
Children in Awe
Of all Magical Things
Of Santa, and Reindeer
What Joy it does Bring
Carolers Singing
On Cold Winter Nights
Warming your Heart
By Shining their Light
The Season of Love
And Spreading Good Cheer
The Birth of our Savior
We Celebrate Here
With Family all gathered
Hands Clasped as we Pray
Giving Thanks to the Lord
For the Glory of His day

Angel baby, child of light
You stand on tippy toes
Upon the holly berry branch
To catch the falling snow
Floating above your tiny hands
Still you reach for it, afar
Until, softly, it lands upon you
And you catch your falling star
