A Sight Seeing Tour – High Point State Park

We stopped here on our way back from the beautiful Pocono Mountains.  I have lived in New Jersey for over 50 years and I have never been here before.  The experience was exhilarating!!

Here’s a bit of info, in case you ever want to visit 🙂

High Point State Park – High Point, in Montague, Sussex County, New Jersey, in the Skylands Region, is the highest elevation in the state at 1,803 feet (550 m). It is southeast of Port Jervis, New York. High Point is the highest peak of the Kittatinny Mountains. Three states – New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania – can be seen from the top.

I like to share your words with folks
I do this when I tweet
But you have to help me out, you see
Your profile’s not complete

I click the little birdie
After I read your stories
But your Twitter handle isn’t there
Why give WordPress all the glory?

It’s easy to correct this
A task that you must do
So I can share your works of art
Giving the credit all to you!!

 

 

Easy Fix: Go to Settings -> Sharing.  Scroll down until you see “Twitter username to include in tweets when people share using the Twitter button.”  If you have a Twitter account, your username should be put there, in the box.  Otherwise, when people tweet it will come up @wordpresscom instead of YOU!!  🙂  This will not attach your Twitter account to WP, that’s up the page a bit.

The Holy week for Christians begins on Holy Thursday, the day of the last supper, the holy communion and finally, the betrayal of Jesus. On Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, I will share a three part poem about these fateful days, leading up to Jesus’ resurrection.

Thank you cardI can’t say that enough, to all of you, who reached out to us, prayed for Alyssa, called, texted and messaged.  God heard you and answered, as he always does.  My daughter is fine.  She will always have to be aware of her symptoms, but she has a strong heart, in more ways than one. Her team of nurses and doctors were amazing, always guided by God’s mighty hands!

Thank you, two words that seem so very small, yet mean so very much….
