Little Lady Lily, such a silly forest sprite
Got stuck in a tree, and stayed there all night
Til a bird landed on her, but it couldn’t speak elf
Lady Lily didn’t care, she’d have to teach it herself
Soon, many feathered friends, learning the words
Did pass them along, to all the other birds
The little forest creatures, kept chattering away
Seems all this time, they’d had an awful lot to say
Lady Lily didn’t care, decided to build a new home
Up in the tree, a little nest, the only one, with a dome

Aw, love this! You ever consider writing rhyming children’s books? I bet you could be good at it.

Yes, I have! And I have one in the works, and a couple more to follow. Thank you!
