When slowly sets the evening sun
And twilight skies have just begun
I watch, as clouds display the night
Changing colors, with the light
Purple, orange, yellow, and rose
Inspiring thoughts, unwritten prose
Something too ethereal, to put into words
The most beautiful silence I’ve ever heard

There is such beauty in watching the sun set. You captured it with your words.

Thank you, Beckie! I wrote this in the wee hours of the morning. I was lucky to find a pic that was close to what I had imagined! 🙂
