The holiday season is here
Everyone’s filled with good cheer
But I have this cold, or so I’ve been told
Maybe you shouldn’t come near
People are shopping like crazy
I shop online, ‘cause I’m lazy
But the doctor affirms, I picked up some germs
Now everything seems a bit hazy
I wonder how that can be
Is this why I’m feeling crappy?
A box full of tissues, oh, so many issues!
Please pour me another cup of tea
I whistle when I breathe, I’m wheezing
And in between that, I keep sneezing
My nose is on fire, all I do is perspire
How can that be if I’m freezing?
Tylenol, Advil, Aleve
With these three things, I believe
I can chase this away, at least for today
Perhaps, just a little reprieve
I’m starting to feel some relief
This cold took my spirit, what a thief!
I hope it’s not longer, til I feel much stronger
Until then, I’ll just lie here, (good grief)

That is awesome news! I absolutely LOVE the prompts. I missed one in the beginning of November, but I’m going to try to backtrack 🙂

Did you? I hadn’t noticed… There’s a lot of people doing them who aren’t tagging me correctly, so I’m trying to catch those ones when I spot them, so I can share their links later. A lot of people involved this month. I can barely keep up
reading them all. Lol… It’s so exciting to see the response! 😉

Another thing I need to get written up! Thanks for the reminder! Gotta put it on my to-do list. 😉 I’ve been working on my book… formatting and such. Think I’m going to try and draw my own cover for it too. Oh this first time around is so daunting!

Yep, formatting and art work for books is such a pain in the rump! I have my tenth book coming out in a few days…I must be crazy LOL

That’s awesome! Congratulations! I have 12 in the works. But I would say only 4 will likely be published this coming year. And that is only if, I can get my book covers done. That’s the only thing holding me up right now.

12!!! Dear Lord, woman! Get them published already!!! I use my photography for my covers, maybe try that?

I’m going to try and draw the covers myself. I really think an illustration is more of what I’m looking for. So hopefully I can do it… just not sure how I go about getting it from the paper to the computer without having it come out blurry. That’s the part I still need to figure out. I don’t have the best scanner around.

Get yourself a drawing tablet for your pc. then you can draw directly without losing quality.
