This monument, along with a piece of the World Trades Center’s steel, is found at Our Lady of Consolation RC Church, Wayne, NJ. It is a beautiful memorial to the men and women who lost their lives on that horrible day. May we never forget them, nor those who sacrificed for the sake of others, our first responders, whose only instinct was to save… May God bless them and keep them in his loving care.

It’s a beautiful memorial. So glad I can go and sit there if I ever need to, and just be quiet…

Yes, Bushka. My heart goes out to all around the world, but 9/11 holds very raw memories. My husband was supposed to be in the city that day but work called him in to the NJ office. I thank God every day that he wasn’t there….
