Beguiling twilight, sky subdued
Midnight comes, in darkest blues
Turn the colors of the day
Into the evening, swept away
As the full moon shines from up above
I’ll wait for your return, my love
Til sunlight dawns, a morn sublime
When once again, your heart is mine
