Swept away, the flower’s bloom
By autumn’s changing ways
Replacing colors, blending hues
Of leaves that fall where they may
And rise again in the swirling winds
Scattering in a rainbow of dance
Until the trees lay barren, bare
Awaiting another chance
To blossom once again in tune
With nature’s call to play
As sunlight melts away the gloom
Of winter’s faded ways
