Snow covered mountains
Barren and colorless
Against deep blue skies
Only the sun’s reflection
Casting its amber glow
Evergreen trees
Stand virile and stately
The barrier between
The drab and the vivid
Changing seasons
Brightly colored fields
Flora in full bloom
Unconcerned with the cold
Hovering over it
Nature collides

Reminds me of Mount Washington, NH….Did you have a particular place in mind? I like that the poem relates to more than one place ….

No, no place in particular. I was drawn to the picture simply because it was such a contrast to the norm. But I suppose wherever that is, it is the norm… This was the first time I actually wrote from first looking at a photo. I don’t usually write that way.
