Left there by mama
She begins to shiver
Beautiful creature
Unsafe from the quiver
Marksman ravage
The green of the land
Searching for trophy
Slain by their hand
To brag for the right
What great hunters they are
While papa & mama
Lay across their car
Who will come back
To care for this fawn
Asleep in the brush
Until break of dawn
Will she starve in the day?
Will she cower in the night?
Will she thinks she’s abandoned?
When there’s no one in sight
Soon, she’ll fend for herself
Without the help of a Doe
Grow up to be a target
And learn man is her foe
