I looked
But couldn’t see
Lost along the way
From nowhere
That tiny shard,
A mere splinter
Keeping the whole complete
No holes to close
Nor open wounds to mend
Still my soul
Laid bare within
Determination faltered
Ease gave up too easily
Yet, I remained intact,
An entity
Battling the demon
In my head
Refusing
To let him win
And still I wait
Waving my white flag
Pleading
For the referee
To call the fight

Agreed. And I highly suggest seeking professional counseling or therapy. I have and it changed my perspective completely. It definitely removed the stigma of counselors and therapist.
