I’ll be taking a break from blogging. I’m not sure how long. My mom fell this morning and broke her clavicle. We’re still deciding what course of care needs to be taken.

Oh, I can relate, Dorinda. Taking a break from blogging was the best thing I could have done while caring for my parents. I hope your mom makes a speedy recovery and that you get to spend some quality time as well. See you when you get back (hopefully I’ll be back too). ❤

I hope your Mom will be ok!! She’s blessed to have such a great daughter as you!!! Don’t give WP a thought. Do what you have to do and enjoy time away helping your Mom and recharging!!

How can I like a post that tells of such a sad event. My very best to your mother. A clavicle break is painful and debilitating, as you know. So take good care of your Mom and good care of yourself and return to us refreshed.

Best wishes – I am nearing the end (I hope) of a very tough period in my life – nine months ago I was taken seriously ill with what turned out to be life threatening cancer. On Monday of this week, having just had an operation to remove the original source of the mischief I was advised that my tumour levels are now back to normal, so once I have recovered from the operation I will be on the road to full recovery. Take as long as you need (due to incapacity I was completely offline for two whole months at the start of this process, so I know a thing or two about hiatuses).
