Children are full of expectations
Except, they never get their way
A mother looks for explanations
Except, she doesn’t know what to say
A father looks at his son as his twin
Except, the son moves on, despite
To build a life with a wife, who adores him
Except, when he always thinks he’s right
Each looks at the other, from different points of view
Except, no one really knows, what the right thing is, to do
