Criss-cross applesauce
I hit the chair and watched it toss
Across the patio it flew
I wasn’t quite sure what to do
I wonder if my mom did hear
But, I don’t see her coming near
Maybe this time she won’t know
If the chair is upright, should she show
Okay, it’s good, all fixed, but gee
I guess no more jump rope, here, for me

Oh, I’m so glad! I loved jumping rope and couldn’t help but think about it when I saw Michelle’s prompt. 🙂

Sounds like a jump-roping rhyme, Dorinda. Something I would have memorized as a kid. 🙂 Nicely done!
