The lovely Helene of Willow Poetry has challenged us with “What do you See?”.  You may write a poem, haiku, tanka or short story that represents what you see or feel within you.  More info can be found in the link below.

Peering cautiously, into the maze
The wall, ahead, halts my quizzical gaze

A choice to make, which way to follow
Nothing to guide, the path is hollow

Shall I go left, or better to go right?
I must decide, and allay this fright

Of losing myself, inside this place
Yelling for help, would be a disgrace

I must show myself, I am able to cope
Find my way out, never giving up hope

No matter the path, I know I’ll survive
I just need to make out of here, alive

But first, I need to find my center
Before this circuitous maze, I enter

Tis then I can follow, this uncharted course
Head into the unknown, with no remorse

To make it through, no haste, nor hurry
And leave that pesky thing, called worry

At the beginning, where it all began
Without foresight, nor map, nor plan

And while these walls may confound
Finding my way, will be quite profound
