To take flight, into the vast unknown
With only my wings, to keep me aloft
Through the sky, a haven, in which I roam
Unafraid of the journey, into the wind, I waft
To let my body feel, as my soul ascends
And my heart, to know it’s on course
So abstractly, against the clouds, I blend
As from this Earth, I leave, with no remorse

Wow. I’m not sure if it’s a bird flying and a soul leaving the earth, but this is beautiful. This is how I imagine peace feels like.

The bird is a metaphor for the human soul, departing this Earth for its place in Heaven ❤
