Every bauble on the tree, holds a special memory
Each one we carefully hang, both round and square
It’s the wonder of the year, with loved ones ever near
All these Christmas treasures, we are sure to share

“with loved ones ever near”… if only. We did not put up a tree or decorate this year. Christmas is just another day for us now…

It should never be another day. You should still decorate for you and Susan. Because the kids and grandkids live far, is no reason for you to miss out on the warmth of the season. Hang a mistletoe, plug in a small prelit tree, then bask in the glow!!
