He found himself standing on a bridge
Not quite sure of just how he got here
Something on the map must have changed
Perchance, its markings weren’t so clear
Shadows falling, as the sun begins to set
The azure sky, was fading, much to his dismay
Perhaps, he took a wrong turn somewhere
Or maybe he was meant to find this way
Trying to soak in the last of the warmth
Taking a deep breath, from up there, high
Thinking, for once, he’s on top of the world
He threw the map, over the edge, and sighed
