It’s the beginning of a new month and you know what that means!! Poet’s choice! I chose the words Christmas and Flashback. Remember, you can only use synonyms to write your poetry!
Written as an Etheree, my synonyms are Yuletide and Memories.
The
Yuletide
Spirit shines
Glows in our hearts
Brings us warmth within
Our home, filled to the brim
With love, family gathers
Exchanging hugs instead of gifts
Relating stories of days long past
Memories to share for generations

What a lovely Etheree! That’s my kind of holiday. I don’t celebrate Christmas. We started celebrating the Winter Solstice several years ago and love it. Merry Yule to you and your family, Dorinda. ❤

Dorinda, I ADORE this! I also love how your poem mimics the form of a Christmas tree! I’m hosting a Blogmas contest and this would be a great submission.
