Time waits for no one, it’s just thrown away
A simple hour, quickly, turns into a day
Minute by minute, we forget before
What happens, when we want a little more
We sit and we wait, but it passes us by
Wondering how and not knowing why
We try to make it stay, a bit longer, but no
It reminds us it has a need to go
And just like that, we have lost it all
Zapped away, no matter how we stall
We’ll never believe it, though days are blown
Wanting only to remain, in our own time zone

Beautifully written, from the heart. It’s a concept I’ve toyed with a lot lately, how time just keeps on ticking regardless of how we interact with it.

Unfortunately, we have no way of turning back time, and so, we must live in every moment!! Thank you very much, Bernie! ❤
