I was flying around through the cosmos
When out of nowhere, it flew by, with a zip
It scared the living daylights out of me
Now I have the worst case of the pucchips
My innards are starting to rattle
My outsides are shaking like a leaf
It’s one close call after another
I’m getting all banged up. Good grief!
You think it’s so easy, up here in space
You think you could do this yourself
Well, let me tell you a little something
It doesn’t work by reading a book off a shelf
It takes years of hard work and some practice
And you always hope the engineers get it right
Or else you’ll be flying around here, like me
Somewhere lost, in the middle of the night
I’m sending my signals back to Earth
Hoping, soon, someone is bound to hear
I’m tired of hanging around in midair
Outer space, you no longer endear

This was a great read, the humour, realness, and choice of words made it entertaining.

This is really good work.
As long as signals are strong and hopes do not succumb to darkness of the space around us. we are bound to reach home, sooner than later.
