#mythoughts, death, friend, Paul Lenzi, Poesy plus Polemics, poet, poetry, saddened
For all who have not heard, the poetry community lost an incredible man yesterday.
His son writes, “It is with deep regret that I have to announce the sudden passing of my father Paul Lenzi. He was the cornerstone of our family and will be missed dearly. He began this blog as an a creative outlet and as a way of sharing his poetry. He never imagined it would develop such a large following, and the overwhelming support he received from this community touched him deeply. On behalf of our entire family, thank you. We are proud of the legacy of words he left behind.”
Paul was a very dear friend, and an incredible human being. He helped me when I first started sharing my poetry, always having kind words to encourage. I am deeply saddened that I will not see his name in my inbox any longer, but I am hoping his family will keep his blog, “Poesy plus Polemics” up and running so that we may go back and reread the many wonderful words he has written.
Paul, your legacy will live on through your beautiful family and through us, as the poetry community, and especially me, will never forget you.
Sleep well, my friend. I know God has you in his loving arms. ❤

Oh, my Dorinda! This is such sad, sad news! Paul was such a wonderful Friend and talented writer! He shall be sorely missed by me and the WP community! I suspected some issues with the selling of the family home.
I will reblogged this news to my followers. I do hope that his family will heed your request to keep up his blog and might also be encouraged to publish any of his works that weren’t published in a book or on his blog.
You are so very Sweet and Tender Hearted, which is why we all Love you so!!! Thanks for passing this along!!!
I had just thought about whether there is any method for administration and/or keeping a blog going after someone passes. Do you know. I know Holly administered a blog for a friend for awhile or may still be doing that. I should ask her.
Something I need to think about now too!
LAH

Yes, I’m very saddened by this. I knew something was up. he had stopped writing and was sharing things from his books. And of course, his home. I was hoping to meet up with him when e moved back to NJ 😦 As for admin of a blog of someone who has passed, I have no idea. Perhaps one of his children will take it on. We can only hope. Thank you for reblogging. xoxo

Many of the amazingly talented bloggers I follow, die.
It is such a huge privilege,
to be a friend, and witness to these super talented people’s,
last thoughts.
I don’t even think WP knows what it has created.
It is a place where people like us,
find each other.
I know he will RIP.
