Against the brightest moon
I venture, seeking solace
Taken from me, too soon
Ebony night, speak to me
Let peace and tranquility abound
Shadows enveloping, sheathing
Their spirits dance, profound
A settling calm, stormless
Sends me deeper into the vast
I am no longer searching
The darkness has claimed me
At last

I agree with Walt! I would also submit this to writers of television Vampire shows.
As an avid watcher of the Originals, this would have fit in beautifully.
May I suggest you begin with : Face Off ….not the movie, I will pm you.
I am serious.

Wow, I could hear this being quoted in a scene in the Haunted Mansion at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom! Creepy and crawly from the dark side of you! 😃💛
