where to draw the line
my fantasies, bleed out
from the end of a pencil
onto blank pages
where thoughts spill
without ink, splotches
of words, erased, replaced
then smeared again
by the brush of my hand
or is it my vision, blurring
the existing lines, a verse
left unattended because
I have fallen asleep
into yet another dream

I’ll post for a prompt, JusJoJan, tomorrow. It’s new to me. Just fun with some “drama” about weather. So many interesting challenges are coming.

OMG, Dorinda! This is simply exquisite, elegant and awesomely simple all at the same time! I love pieces on the creative process is a number one with a bullet! This grabbed me from the very start and held me tightly to the end. I pictured it all and just loved it!! Your graphic is simply inspired. It is fantastic too. Such a great merger of words and visual.
This is by far the very best I can remember reading! This needs to go on your All Time Top 5!!!! Thanks so much for writing and sharing this!!!!
