There was an aura about her, a subtle glow, against the paleness of her skin. She had me transfixed, her sapphire eyes, so hypnotic, were merely her calling. I could not look away. For when I did, and returned my eyes to her, she had disappeared, leaving me to concede my only hope of tomorrow, revealing my vulnerability, surrendering my soul.
