There was a child, who kept to himself
Toys in the attic, no room for a shelf
Rocking horse, teddy, guitars and cars
But there was just once place
He’d reach, for the stars
***
Watching through windows, moon glowing bright
Imagination, his playmate, who stayed through the night
Knowing one day, he would venture from this place
To paint his name among the stars
In ethereal outer space

Excellent poem! I recall being a little boy myself. And dreaming of the grand things that had yet to arrive. 🙂

I schedule in advance, especially for the weekends. I take advantage of my good days, so the not so good days don’t get in the way 🙂

Thank you! I’m going to try and post the prompts for October, on the 30th. That way, everyone can get a head start on writing. It’s been so much fun collaborating with you and everyone else. So far, you’re the only one who’s completed every single prompt! 😉
